OVERVIEW
The National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (NCCD) is a non-profit public institution approved by the State Commission Office of Public Sector Reform on November 3rd, 2009. It is affiliated with the National Health Commission. According to Circular of the National Health Commission on Issuing the Provisions Concerning Main Responsibilities, Internal Organizations, and Staffing of the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (No.27 [2019], National Health Commission), NCCD is registered as a Category II public institution. It is located at the start of West Shilong Road and West Chang'an Street, Mentougou District, Beijing. NCCD and Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Fuwai Hospital") are committed to developing a world-class pro-innovation platform for translational medical research.
